Urgent news
HAIRDRESSER Sabastian Blac last night won the right to expand his East
Albury salon — by a hair’s breadth. The beauty salon will open following
the easter break offering facials, waxing, nails, spray tans and make up.
Mayor Alice Glachan used her casting vote to ensure the council didn’t
reject Mr Blac’s planning application to use part of a former takeaway
shop for his new business expansion.
The council tied 4-4 when it first voted on Cr Daryl Betteridge’s motion
to refuse the application because parking was considered inadequate.
Cr
Glachan cast her additional vote against that motion and Cr Philomena
Sawyer then proposed the council allow the change-of-use subject to Mr
Blac having a parking strategy and the number of customers and staff on
site being capped at 20.
Following this news Sabastian would like to thank all staff, clients,
friends, family and kind neighbours who helped us win our fight against
our nasty neighbours. Thank you for your support!!
Sabastian Blac Salons new trading hours are available on our website.

time…..this does not include children under the age of 17. Please be
mindful not to bring in a group of friends whilst being pampered.
Parking is still difficult so please abide by all road laws while
visiting the salon.
Finally….Our salon hours are being closely monitored at all times. Our
trading hours must be strictly adhered to. Under no circumstance
can we commence your service before 9am (8am on sat) or finish after 8pm
